Otavio Lazarini Barbosa
EVP of Latin America, Westcon-Comstor

A channel industry leader for 25 years, Otavio Lazarini Barbosa serves as Westcon-Comstor EVP of Latin America responsible for development and execution of both business strategy and P&L functions across the region. Otavio previously acted as General Manager of WestconGroup in Brazil. During this tenure, he significantly drove growth and solidified the company’s foothold in the region. Coming from Brazilian distributor TelSist Informatica, Otavio helped position that company for acquisition. Otavio has a BS in Computer Engineering from PUC University of Rio de Janeiro and an MS in Business Administration from Purdue University.

Helio Guimarães
GM of MCA Latin America, Westcon-Comstor

Helio Guimarães brings more than 20 years of experience to his role as GM responsible managing and growing the business in the Multi-Country Area of Latin America. Previously, Helio held management positions in sales, marketing and business development at Westcon Brasil Ltda. He also was a technical services manager at Telsist Informática Ltda, which was acquired by Westcon-Comstor in 1998 to become Westcon Brasil. Earlier in his career, he served as a product specialist at IBM Brasil Ltda. Helio has a B.S. in Computer Engineering from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro and an MBA from the University of Warwick in the UK.

Humberto Menezes
Managing Director of Brazil, Westcon-Comstor

Humberto Menezes joined Westcon-Comstor in 2005 and since then has been deeply involved with the growth and development of Cisco distribution. Prior to joining Westcon-Comstor he was country manager of 3Com Brazil and Novell do Brasil, and director for Enterprise Accounts in Latin America for Novell Inc. Humberto holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with management extension from Babson College.

Fernando Lopez
GM of Mexico, Westcon-Comstor

Fernando Lopez serves as GM for Westcon-Comstor Mexico in Latin America. With extensive telecommunications and technology experience, Fernando led the Comstor expansion into Latin America (except Brazil and Mexico) and helped secure the company’s foundation in the region. Prior to Westcon-Comstor, he achieved success leading teams at Siemens and Motorola. Fernando has a degree in Industrial Engineering from the Universidad Catolica de Colombia, and a master’s degree in Administration from Universidad de los Andes in Bogota, Colombia.


Ignacio Sánchez Santodomingo
CFO of Latin America, WestconGroup

Ignacio Sánchez Santodomingo as CFO for Latin America is responsible for leading the finance strategy and execution throughout the region. He joined WestconGroup through the acquisition of Afina where he was Group CFO. Previously, he served as CFO for a variety of companies. Ignacio has a BBA from the University Complutense in Madrid, Spain and an MBA from the IESE Business School.

Marcos Murata
Senior Director of Vendor Management Latin America, Westcon-Comstor

With almost two decades of leadership experience in the technology industry, Marcos Murata is the senior director of Vendor Management for Latin America responsible for regional vendor management and strategy. Previously, he led the Product Management, Engineering and Marketing teams in Brazil, focused on the development of the go-to-market strategy to support reseller recruitment, enablement and growth plans. Before joining Westcon-Comstor, Marcos held various managerial positions at NEC Brasil, Telsinc, PHR Networking and High Value. Marcos has an Information Systems degree from the Presbiteriana Mackenzie University in Brazil.

Sergio Basilio
Director of Solutions and Strategy Latin America, Westcon-Comstor

Sergio Basílio joined Westcon Brazil as managing director and since then has propelled Westcon-Comstor in the Latin American region. Previously he held executive leadership roles, including channel VP and channel director for such companies as Cheyenne Software, CA, Veritas, Symantec and Infor. During this time, Sergio and his team managed more than 60 distributors and worked directly with thousands of resellers and integrators all over Latin America. Sergio has a B.S. in Electronic Engineering from PUC in Rio de Janeiro, an MBA degree from Fundação Dom Cabral and University of British Columbia in Vancouver, and a Post-MBA from Kellogg Business School in Chicago.

Fernando Ayllón
VP of Services Solutions Latin America, Westcon-Comstor

Fernando Ayllón serves as VP of Services Solutions of Latin America responsible for developing and executing both the business strategy and the P&L functions of Services across the region. He joined Westcon-Comstor when the company acquired Afina where he was Chief Strategy and Services Officer, taking part in the company growth to 14 offices across 12 countries. Fernando has a B.S. in Telecommunications Engineering from Polytechnic University of Madrid and an MBA from IESE Business School.

Andres Irazabal
Director of Technology Latin America, Westcon-Comstor

Andres Irazabal has served as technology director at Westcon-Comstor Latin America for more than a decade. He joined the company when TelSist Informática was acquired by Westcon-Comstor to become Westcon Brasil Ltda. Due to his extensive experience in the technical services area, Andres became the Technical Services manager. With the growth and expansion of the business to other Latin American and Caribbean countries, he was promoted to his current position to lead the region’s technology focus. He has a B.S. degree in Computer Engineering from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro and a Lato Sensu Executive MBA degree from Coppead, UFRJ.

Luis Claudio Carvalho
Director of Operations and Logistics Latin America, Westcon-Comstor

Luis Claudio Carvalho has served as operations director of Westcon-Comstor Latin America for more than 17 years. Previously he held several technical services positions at TelSist Informática Ltda, a local value-added distributor of networking solutions. When TelSist Informática Ltda was acquired by Westcon-Comstor, Luis was appointed operations director of Westcon Brasil. Luis has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro.

Flavio Cardoso
Senior Corporate Counsel, Latin America, WestconGroup

With more than two decades of expertise in the corporate, commercial and international practice areas, Flavio Cardoso serves as Senior Corporate Counsel for WestconGroup's Latin American operations. Prior to joining WestconGroup, he was a Senior Contracts Manager at Avnet in charge of the Latin America region. Flavio also worked at Morgan Lewis and Hughes Hubbard law firms in New York, advising clients mainly on structured finance and capital markets matters involving Latin America. Flavio has a law degree from PUC University of Rio Grande do Sul and a Master’s degree in Comparative Jurisprudence from New York University.

Isabelle Galvão de Moura
Human Resources Director, Latin America, Westcon-Comstor

With her entire career focused on human capital, Isabelle Galvão de Moura is the Human Resources Director for Latin America. Isabelle is responsible for standardizing and implementing the company’s global human resources practices for her region, as well as supporting the local Human Resources teams in attracting, retaining, motivating and developing employee talents. She began her career in human resources as an intern at Westcon Brazil. Isabelle has a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and a master’s degree in Business Management from Universidade Candido Mendes. She is currently working on completing another master’s degree in Human Resources and Knowledge Management from Universidad Europea del Atlantico.
