Expansion into EMEA, LATAM markets supported by new partner marketing funds and incentive programs to help VARs better address rising demand for security solutions
TARRYTOWN, N.Y. – June 29, 2015 – WestconGroup, a leading value-added global distributor of security, unified communication, network infrastructure, and data center solutions, has expanded its distribution agreement with FireMon, the leading provider of proactive security intelligence solutions, to include Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and Latin America (LATAM). The expansion makes WestconGroup the first distribution partner to carry FireMon’s products worldwide.
Beginning July 1, WestconGroup will distribute the complete FireMon Security Manager Platform, including Policy Planner, Policy Optimizer, Risk Analyzer and Immediate Insight, throughout Europe, Middle East, Africa and Latin America countries. These products are currently available in North America and Asia Pacific through WestconGroup.

The firewall market reached $9.4 billion last year and is expected to grow 10 percent through next year, according to Gartner. With demand on the rise for innovative security solutions, FireMon has made significant investments in resources and funding to support this global relationship, including additional staff, partner marketing dollars, and a global partner incentive program that has developed more than 2,000 leads for solution providers already this year.
