TARRYTOWN, N.Y. – April 21, 2016 – After two years of designing and building, Westcon-Comstor, the value-added technology distributor of category-leading solutions in security, collaboration, networking and data center, is ready to unveil its new office and logistics center in Toronto, Canada. The 47,000-square-foot center offers powerful capabilities and exceptional benefits to partners, customers and associates.

WestconGroup CEO Dolph Westerbos will be on-hand for the grand opening, taking place April 21, along with Westcon-Comstor executives Lynn Smurthwaite-Murphy, EVP North America and Kevin Brzezinski, VP of Operations, North America. They will be joined by local officials Mayor Rob Burton, Town Councillor Dr. Natalia Lishchyna, and Regional and Town Councillor Tom Adams. The event will feature a ribbon-cutting, facility tour, vendor sponsor tables and the Comstor EDGE Experience, which will allow partners to see first-hand how the Comstor EDGE can help them build a profitable Cisco practice.

“At Westcon-Comstor, we are committed to delivering advanced service levels via seamless logistics, warehousing and integration. This addition to our supply chain network represents the heart of our dedication to customer service,” Westerbos said. “The Toronto facility will make it easier for partners to manage global product and services delivery and help their customers make centralized design and purchasing decisions.”

Located at 1383 Joshuas Creek Drive, the facility will house current employees and will be the new home of the logistics center, previously located in Montreal. The center boasts a staging and integration area and full provisioning, along with a dedicated training room and demo capabilities. Services provided will allow partners to drive efficiencies through expedited deliveries and deployments, significantly reduce shipping costs and eliminate RMA/DOA expenses. Additionally, solution providers can take advantage of improved cash flow by 7-14 days and increased profitability by attaching services margin to their product sales.
