Tanesha’s role as one of Comstor’s new Comstor-Cisco Sales Specialists is part of a joint initiative between Comstor and Cisco to put feet on the ground and engage with partners at their premises.

Too good to miss

I was an Account Manager at a rival distributor and studying for my Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician / CCNA Routing and Switching certification. It was always my intention to work for Cisco when I finished my training, so when the opportunity came up to join the cross-sell programme at Comstor, it was too good to miss.

 

On the road

My role is to empower partners with Cisco’s enterprise networking and ensure they reap all the benefits Comstor has to offer. I go on the road to meet partners at their premises to demonstrate Cisco’s capabilities. We create personalised business plans to ensure they stay at the forefront of such a dynamic market, so understanding the needs of every customer is central to the role.

Hybrid role

As a hybrid role between technical and sales, Comstor and Cisco, I’ve had extensive training on various Cisco accreditations. It’s an exciting position and I already have many fantastic memories, but the training in Turkey has to be top of the list; to learn in such a multi-national environment and spend time with great people in the beautiful city of Istanbul was a pleasure and an experience I will never forget.

 

Healthy work-life balance

I am a tech geek, so I love to keep up to date with new technology here and outside work.
