Westcon-Comstor becomes first Proofpoint Authorised Training Partner in Europe

New Authorised Training Partner status enables Westcon-Comstor to deliver Proofpoint-accredited education and certifications at scale

LONDON, UK – 15 July, 2025 – Westcon-Comstor, a global technology provider and specialist distributor, today announced that it has become the first Authorised Training Partner (ATP) in Europe for Proofpoint, a leading cybersecurity and compliance company.

This accreditation enables Westcon-Comstor to deliver Proofpoint-certified education and enablement services at scale to channel partners and end customers across Europe. Training will be delivered through the Westcon-Comstor Academy, which offers comprehensive, multi-vendor technical programmes tailored to partner needs.

Becoming Proofpoint’s first external ATP in Europe marks a key milestone in the growth of Westcon-Comstor’s enablement portfolio and further deepens its strategic partnership with Proofpoint. The agreement will accelerate partner upskilling and certification and allow full integration of Proofpoint courses into the academy’s expanding offering.

Through its academy the distributor has provided presales, technical and enablement training to more than 3,000 channel partner companies and 30,000 individual users globally since 2017, ensuring partners have the product knowledge, vendor training and engineering capability to deliver value to their customers.

Westcon-Comstor is already authorised to deliver accredited training across all courses globally for Palo Alto Networks and Check Point Software and is the largest Authorised Training Centre (ATC) for F5 in Europe, Middle East and Africa.

The academy also offers accredited training for multiple other cybersecurity and networking vendors in Westcon-Comstor’s global portfolio including Infoblox, Extreme Networks and Broadcom.
