At Westcon-Comstor New Zealand, we believe in making a difference both in business and in our communities. This year, our team laced up their running shoes and took on the challenge of Round the Bays 2025, all in support of Starship Hospital, New Zealand’s national children’s hospital.
A strong start to #MakeADifferenceMarch
Round the Bays is one of New Zealand’s most iconic community running events, bringing together thousands of participants to run, walk, and celebrate fitness and philanthropy. Our team of dedicated colleagues tackled the 8.4km course, united by a common goal to raise vital funds for Starship and ensure that all Kiwi children receive the best healthcare possible.
As part of our #MakeADifferenceMarch campaign, this initiative wasn’t just about crossing the finish line—it was about rallying together to support an incredible cause. Thanks to the generosity of our employees, partners, and supporters, we raised an incredible $3,529 for Starship. Every dollar contributed will help provide critical medical care and resources for children and their families across New Zealand.
Community spirit in action
The energy on race day was truly inspiring. From the early morning warm-ups to the final strides across the finish line, the camaraderie among our team members and the wider community was palpable. Whether running, jogging, or walking, each step taken was a step towards making a meaningful impact.
