Why Stefano joined Tech Xpert

Stefano joined Tech Xpert with a clear goal in mind. “I was eager to expand my knowledge of cybersecurity,” he said. The dynamic nature of the industry made it vital for him to stay well-informed and enabled, and the Tech Xpert community became his go-to resource.

Since joining, Stefano has found immense value in the community. “My experience in the Tech Xpert community has been very positive so far. I’ve been impressed by the level of expertise and the willingness of members to help each other,” he shared.

Real solutions through collaboration

The Tech Xpert members-only platform, Tech ConneX, provides a space where partners can share knowledge and resources to solve real-world problems. For Stefano, one memorable experience was when a customer struggled with intermittent connectivity for remote users, resulting in productivity losses.

“I found a thread in the Tech Xpert forum where another member had encountered a similar problem. The discussion highlighted a specific configuration setting on the customers’ firewall that was causing the conflict. Based on the forum discussion, I adjusted the firewall policy according to the recommended procedure. This resolved the connectivity issues, restoring seamless access to the application for remote users,” Stefano explained.

Not only did this solve the issue, but it also boosted the customers' trust in Stefano’s expertise and led to reduced support calls. This level of collaborative problem-solving is exactly where Tech Xpert shines.

Leveraging 3D Lab

Another standout benefit of Tech Xpert for Stefano is 3D Lab, a tool he’s used to demonstrate solutions like Palo Alto Networks’ Prisma Access to customers. “We utilise 3D Labs to showcase to customers how Prisma Access integrates with their existing on-premises infrastructure, such as their data centre firewalls and network devices. This allows us to simulate their specific environment and demonstrate how users connect to applications, adhering to Zero Trust principles,” he said.

3D Lab doesn’t just enhance customer Proof of Value and Proof of Concept; it also acts as a hands-on testing and enablement environment for partners and customers. For Stefano and many others, tools like this drive significant pipeline generation.

The RSAC experience

Through the ‘RSAC 2025: Tech Xpert Takeover's Incentive, Stefano recently won a trip to San Francisco to attend RSA Conference 2025 with Westcon-Comstor. This presented him with a unique opportunity to network with global cybersecurity experts. “The chance to interact with cybersecurity experts from all over the world and partners was appealing, as I value building a strong network in the technology industry,” Stefano shared.

This experience further underscored the importance of staying connected to a thriving professional community. Tech Xpert isn’t just a platform for resources; it’s a launchpad for collaboration and growth.
