Highlights from Check Point Engage Paris

We were proud to join Check Point Engage in Paris in early July as a Silver Sponsor. Here’s what we took away, and what it means for our partners.

Recently, the Check Point community gathered in Paris for Check Point Engage, the regional evolution of the well-known CPX conference. Instead of one large global event, Check Point brings the conversation closer to customers and partners through a multi-city tour. The Paris edition delivered two packed days of strategy, roadmap previews and hands-on insight into where cyber security is heading in the AI era.

As a Silver Sponsor of the event, we were on the ground throughout, connecting with partners, customers and Check Point executives. One message came through louder than any other: AI is no longer a separate security topic. It now cuts across everything.

AI security is becoming part of the wider security architecture

The single thread running through Engage Paris was this: AI isn’t a niche conversation sitting off to the side anymore. It touches users, applications, AI agents, data, connectivity and day-to-day security operations simultaneously — and it needs to be designed into the wider security architecture, not bolted on afterwards.

That thinking maps directly onto Check Point’s platform strategy, which is structured around four pillars: Hybrid Mesh Network Security, Workspace Security, Exposure Management and AI Security. Engage made clear that these pillars are converging rather than competing, with AI increasingly acting as the connective tissue between them.

AI Zero Trust: an architecture, not a control point

One of the most valuable frameworks presented in Paris was Check Point’s AI Zero Trust model. Rather than treating AI security as a single control point, it applies Zero Trust principles across every zone and layer of the AI stack:

  • the user and perimeter side, where employees interact with AI tools;
  • the application and front-end layer, including AI-enabled web services;
  • the orchestration and model layer, where AI infrastructure lives;
  • AI agents, which increasingly act autonomously; and
  • the tools, APIs, enterprise applications and data sources connected behind them.

Check Point also walked through a practical, step-by-step security flow: protecting public-facing AI services, securing AI-enabled applications and APIs, extending controls into AI infrastructure and orchestration, protecting connected apps and data, and governing both human users and AI agents. The takeaway for partners is that Check Point is positioning AI security as a broad operating model, not a single point solution. This opens up richer, more strategic customer conversations.

Workforce AI: the most practical starting point for customers

For partners, the easiest place to make this story real is Workforce AI. Employees across every industry already use browser-based AI tools, embedded copilots and desktop AI applications — often without security teams having full visibility.

That makes three conversations immediately relevant for almost any customer:

  • Discovering Shadow AI — which tools are actually being used across the organisation?
  • Governing usage — which tools are approved, and under what conditions?
  • Protecting data — preventing sensitive information from leaking through prompts, uploads or unsanctioned tools.

This connects naturally into the wider Workforce AI Security story, where AI usage, browser activity, SaaS access, collaboration tools and data protection increasingly overlap rather than sitting in separate boxes. For partners, Workforce AI is a low-friction entry point as nearly every customer has the problem today, whether they realise it or not.

Hybrid Mesh: secure connectivity for a distributed AI estate

AI-enabled services, SaaS applications, users, cloud workloads and data sources are all distributed across the modern environment, which is exactly the problem Hybrid Mesh Network Security solves, delivering consistent policy, deep visibility and resilient protection wherever traffic flows.

Check Point is bringing GenAI Protect into the network firewall layer, making AI security enforceable within the network fabric itself. So part of the AI security conversation is not only about the AI tools, it’s about secure connectivity, segmentation and policy enforcement across the whole hybrid estate.

Paris also brought a significant announcement for European customers: Check Point’s Cloud Firewall offering is now available on the AWS European Sovereign Cloud. This helps organisations meet strict EU operational autonomy and data residency requirements, a timely proof point for partners serving regulated and public-sector customers.

Exposure Management: fresh research unveiled on stage

Check Point also unveiled a new research study in Paris, Under Pressure: The 2026 Exposure Gap Report. The findings give partners powerful talking points:

  • Critical vulnerability exposures more than doubled year over year, rising from 18.7% to 42.6% of all critical exposures.
  • Yet fewer than 1 in 12 proved urgent enough to require immediate action, underlining that prioritisation, not raw detection, is the real challenge.
  • Phishing websites were among the fastest-growing exposure types, jumping from 1.0% to 10.5% of critical exposures.
  • The good news: organisations acted on 85.9% of recommended fixes, showing the exposure gap can be closed with the right prioritisation and workflows.

With AI-assisted attack tools letting threat actors probe systems faster than manual triage can keep up, Exposure Management is quickly becoming a board-level topic, and a strong attach opportunity alongside any Check Point deployment.

AI on the operating side: agentic security operations

Engage also flipped the question from “how do we protect AI?” to “how is AI changing how security is managed?” Through Agentic Network Security Orchestration, Check Point showed how AI can take on the visibility, policy management and response work that is becoming impossible to handle manually in large, complex environments.

The same logic extends across the portfolio: AI-enabled email and collaboration security reduces manual analysis, while GenAI Application Security and WAF capabilities protect the growing number of organisations embedding generative AI into their own web applications and digital services. AI, in short, is both something to secure and something that helps you secure everything else.

Engage Paris confirmed that the Check Point story has never been broader or more relevant. Our recommended framing for customer conversations:

  • Lead with AI Security as the main thread, using AI Zero Trust as the architectural backbone.
  • Make it practical with Workforce AI — Shadow AI discovery and data protection resonate with every customer.
