Our Planet
Responsible Business is the only business in the Balkans
Protecting the planet is a business priority, not a side project. It shapes how we work with vendors, support partners, and serve communities across South-Eastern Europe.
We’ve explained how we approach environmental responsibility, what our targets mean, and how our work supports partners in the region. Protecting our planet plays a critical role in how we deliver Partner Success. Our partners trust us to be responsible, promote a sustainable supply chain, and help our suppliers reduce their environmental impact.
Our employees also want to work for a company that makes a real difference. Above all, protecting the planet is the right thing to do.
Our environmental targets
We use measurable goals to guide our progress. These targets help us stay accountable and show partners where we are heading.
Net Zero1
emissions across
Scopes 1, 2 & 3 by 20502
50%
reduction in absolute Scope 1 & 2 emissions by 20302
25%
reduction in absolute Scope 3 emissions by 20302
80%
of our suppliers3 having science-based targets by 20252
ACHIEVED
100%
renewable electricity powering our global operations by 20304
1. Net Zero is defined as a 90% reduction in emissions and offsetting residual emissions (<%10)
2. From an FY22 base year
3. By spending covering purchased goods and services
4. We had already planned to significantly increase the proportion of electricity derived from renewable sources, but we’re pushing this further to hit the 100% mark by 2030 because we want to go above and beyond what’s needed to meet our existing emission reduction targets.

Our environmental focus areas
Tackling climate change
Climate change is one of the most urgent business and environmental challenges we face. We are focusing our efforts on actions that reduce our environmental footprint and support long-term resilience.
That includes setting science-based goals, improving energy performance, increasing renewable electricity use, and working with sustainability partners to strengthen our approach.
For businesses in the Balkans, this approach is especially relevant. Many organisations in the region are balancing growth with new environmental expectations from customers, regulators, and global vendors. Clear targets and practical action make that challenge easier to manage.
Environmentally responsible technology
Technology should support sustainability, not work against it. That is why we embrace circular technology models and reverse logistics.
Working with vendors and partners, we have developed reverse logistics programmes that support more responsible hardware management.
- Facilitating the return and refurbishment of customer-owned networking equipment, extending its usability and reducing the need for new equipment
- Providing ‘blended’ solutions that combine new and vendor remanufactured equipment to minimise environmental impact
- Properly disposing of end-of-life equipment through authorised recyclers
For partners in the Balkans, where cross-border hardware movement and disposal can be complex, this kind of structured support can be especially useful.
