Distribution agreement covering seven countries comes as Westcon-Comstor formally launches its presence in the region

LONDON, UK – 11 June, 2026 Westcon-Comstor, a global technology distributor specialising in cybersecurity, networking and hybrid cloud solutions, today announced a geographic expansion of its long-standing relationship with Cisco into the Balkans. The move is designed to boost growth in secure networking for the region’s channel partners.

Under this agreement, Westcon-Comstor’s Cisco-focused Comstor arm secures Cisco distribution rights in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia and Slovenia.

Partners in those countries gain access to Cisco solutions fused with Comstor’s value-added services spanning data-driven insights and intelligence, technical enablement and go-to-market support – enabling them to address evolving customer needs and accelerate growth in key technology areas including secure networking and AI.

Comstor will also provide partners with guidance on Cisco’s 360 Partner Programme, which was introduced earlier this year.

The agreement follows Westcon-Comstor’s recent acquisition of Balkans-based specialist cybersecurity distributor REAL Security, and the subsequent integration of REAL Security into its wider business – leading to the launch of Westcon-Comstor Balkans.

By bringing REAL Security fully into its business, Westcon-Comstor is combining local insight and in-market capability with the scale, portfolio breadth and data-driven capabilities of its global operation.

“Cisco provides a practical, early example of the value created through the launch of Westcon-Comstor Balkans and the strategic rationale behind integrating REAL Security into our business,” said René Klein, Executive Vice President, Europe at Westcon-Comstor. “The combination of Cisco’s innovative technology, Comstor’s expertise and REAL Security’s market knowledge provides a compelling platform for partner growth in the Balkans, particularly in high-opportunity areas such as secure networking and AI.”

“Cisco continues to accelerate its pace of innovation, delivering unified secure networking and critical infrastructure needed to succeed in the AI era,” said Philip Wright, Cisco Senior EMEA Distribution Director. “Together with Comstor, we are supporting customers to secure and protect their organisations in the post-Mythos threat landscape.”

The agreement with Cisco comes as partners and customers face a rapidly shifting security environment in which AI is accelerating both the scale and speed of threats, increasing the need for secure, resilient and simplified network architectures.

It marks the first time since its acquisition of REAL Security that Westcon-Comstor has forged a Balkans collaboration with one of its existing vendors. Along with the launch of Westcon-Comstor Balkans, the Cisco distribution agreement was announced at RISK Conference 2026 in Slovenia.
