Channel partners to drive adoption of Cradlepoint wireless 5G/ LTE connectivity solutions

TAIPEI CITY, Taiwan – 15 May 2024Westcon-Comstor, a global technology provider and specialist distributor, today announced a geographic expansion of its partnership with Cradlepoint, a global leader in cloud-delivered LTE and 5G wireless network and security solutions. The partnership will see it distribute Cradlepoint cellular wireless wide area networking (WWAN) solutions in Taiwan.

The new agreement will enable carriers, vendors, and channel partners – including resellers and managed service providers (MSPs) – to offer Cradlepoint solutions to enterprise and public sector organisations in Taiwan.

Within Asia Pacific, Cradlepoint and Westcon-Comstor already have a relationship in Singapore, Philippines and Thailand. The expansion into Taiwan represents a strengthening of the collaboration between the two companies.

Cradlepoint routers are managed through NetCloud Manager, the cloud management and orchestration platform, which is designed for lean IT teams with the tools to simplify the configuration, deployment, operation, and troubleshooting of far-flung Wireless WANs. It enables MSPs to manage customer connectivity solutions remotely and provide fast network management with fewer truck rolls.

As an industry leader in Wireless WANs and with the recent acquisition of cybersecurity solutions provider Ericom, Cradlepoint is uniquely positioned to deliver a comprehensive 5G-optimised SASE solution that enables organisations to seamlessly match the security challenges of extended networks. Cradlepoint’s recently announced 5G-optimised NetCloud SASE solution, [BC1] which enables lean IT teams to provision zero-trust networks in as little as six minutes, is available on Cradlepoint’s cloud-delivered platform.

“After achieving success in Singapore, Philippines and Thailand, we’re excited to be expanding our relationship with Cradlepoint into the key market of Taiwan,” said Patrick Aronson, Chief Marketing Officer and APAC Executive Vice President at Westcon-Comstor. “We look forward to enabling partners there to seize the 5G and LTE opportunity.”

“This extension of our distribution partnership with Westcon-Comstor opens opportunities for partners in Taiwan to offer Cradlepoint 5G and LTE connectivity solutions to their customers,” said John Boladian, Vice President Partner Sales, Asia Pacific, Cradlepoint. “With 5G coverage reaching over 97% of locations across Taiwan, there is a lot of opportunity for channel partners to monetise Wireless WAN connectivity.”
