Westcon-Comstor launches Centre of Excellence in New Zealand to drive growth
Rob Purdy, Partner Sales and Solutions Director to lead the programme across the business
AUCKLAND, New Zealand – 15 January, 2026 – Westcon-Comstor, a global technology distributor specialising in cybersecurity, networking and hybrid cloud solutions, today announced the launch of its Centre of Excellence (CoE) in New Zealand, a strategic initiative designed to strengthen solution-selling capabilities and deliver greater value to partners through deep technical expertise and integrated vendor collaboration.
The new CoE will focus on data centre solutions, spanning both Comstor and Westcon, and will integrate offerings from leading vendors including Cisco, Cohesity, HPE/Juniper, Nutanix, Pure Storage and VMware with more to follow as the programme evolves.
Rob Purdy has been promoted to Partner Sales and Solutions Director, expanding his remit to lead the CoE programme across the business and driving a solutions-focused approach aligned with partner needs and market trends.

The CoE will be fully operational in Westcon-Comstor's new financial year, which begins in March 2026, and will set the foundation for planned future centres, including networking and security CoEs.
