Cato Networks joins Westcon-Comstor’s AWS Marketplace programme
Partners can shorten sales cycles and unlock new cloud spend by leveraging Cato’s SASE capabilities in AWS Marketplace
LONDON, UK – 9 April, 2026 – Westcon-Comstor, a global technology distributor specialising in cybersecurity, networking and hybrid cloud solutions, today announced that Cato Networks, a leader in Secure Access Service Edge (SASE), has joined its AWS Marketplace programme, unlocking new growth opportunities for channel partners while fuelling Cato’s cloud marketplace momentum.
The distributor’s programme was launched in 2024 to help partners capitalise on the faster deal closures and reduced procurement friction offered by AWS Marketplace.
It offers multi-currency functionality and supports multi-product solutions – a recent AWS Marketplace enhancement that allows partners to combine multiple products and services into comprehensive solutions tailored to specific industries and customer use cases.
Partners receive guidance, enablement and advisory services from a dedicated, in-house Westcon-Comstor team as they scale their AWS Marketplace business.
Since launch the programme, which is based on the AWS Designated Seller of Record (DSOR) model, has resulted in more than 100 deals worth tens of millions of dollars in total.
Positioned within Westcon-Comstor’s broader AWS go-to-market efforts – spanning marketplace execution alongside the distribution of AWS solutions and associated AWS consulting services – the programme helps partners simplify procurement while building scalable cloud propositions.
The addition of Cato Networks to Westcon-Comstor’s AWS Marketplace programme follows the signing of a distribution agreement between the two companies last November.
It means partners in multiple key markets across Europe and the Middle East can now buy Cato software products from Westcon-Comstor through private listings, then sell directly to customers in a frictionless process that sits entirely within AWS Marketplace.
Customers’ ability to spend their pre-committed AWS budgets on AWS Marketplace transactions enables partners to pursue land-and-expand strategies as they leverage Cato’s AI native, Gartner-recognised, single-vendor SASE platform.
With Omdia forecasting that the IT channel will facilitate 59% of the projected $163 billion spend via hyperscaler cloud marketplaces in 2030, the agreement with Cato underscores Westcon-Comstor’s commitment to ensuring its partners capture a piece of the growth.
“Welcoming Cato Networks into our AWS Marketplace programme further strengthens the commercial proposition we offer,” said Daniel Hurel, Senior Vice President, Westcon EMEA Go-To-Market at Westcon-Comstor. “Partners want faster routes to revenue and buying models that match how customers fund cloud programmes. Enabling Cato procurement through AWS Marketplace helps partners shorten sales cycles and align with committed cloud spend while scaling adoption of a channel-friendly SASE platform that meets real customer demand.”
"We look forward to collaborating with Westcon-Comstor and leverage their market-leading AWS Marketplace programme to expand how partners deliver the Cato SASE Platform to customers,” said Karl Soderlund, Global Channel Chief at Cato Networks. “By combining Westcon’s global partner ecosystem with AWS Marketplace, we are making it easier for customers to leverage existing AWS commitments to adopt the Cato SASE Platform. This collaboration simplifies procurement while enabling partners to deliver Cato’s AI-driven security and networking capabilities through a scalable marketplace model.”
