Westcon-Comstor recognised as one of the UK’s Best Workplaces in Tech™
2025 list celebrates businesses that are leading the way in creating exceptional employee experiences in the tech sector
LONDON, UK – 25 September, 2025 – Westcon-Comstor, a global technology provider and specialist distributor, has been officially recognised as one of the UK’s Best Workplaces in Tech™ by Great Place To Work® UK.
The newly released 2025 list celebrates organisations that are leading the way in creating exceptional employee experiences in the tech sector. Westcon-Comstor earned its place in the ‘large and super large’ category, reinforcing its reputation as an employer of choice in the IT channel.
This recognition builds on the company’s earlier achievement of being certified as a Great Place To Work in the UK and 26 other countries, a testament to its consistent focus on people and culture.
In the UK, 77% of employees described Westcon-Comstor as a great place to work, frequently citing its inclusive, welcoming and people-first environment. Employees also praised the flexibility and autonomy on offer, while taking pride in their work and expressing confidence in the company’s leadership team.
The vast majority of Westcon-Comstor employees say they feel valued and treated fairly regardless of age, ethnicity, gender or sexual orientation.
The distributor employs more than 500 people across the UK, with sites in Bracknell, Cirencester, Swindon, Crawley and – following last year’s acquisition of specialist AWS cloud consultancy Rebura – London.
Great Place To Work® is the global authority on workplace culture, employee experience and the leadership behaviours proven to deliver market-leading revenue, employee retention and increased innovation.
To determine the Best Workplaces™ list, Great Place To Work® UK administered its research-backed Trust Index™ employee survey and analysed the responses of UK-based tech employees.
The surveys asked employees to comment on how their company supports their work-life balance, sense of fulfilment, job satisfaction, psychological safety and financial security. Evaluations also included an assessment of how well the organisation was able to deliver consistency of their employee experience across all departments and seniority levels.
“This is a proud moment for our UK team,” said Erna de Ruijter-Quist, Chief People Officer at Westcon-Comstor. “Being certified as a Great Place To Work was a fantastic milestone, and to now be named one of the UK’s Best Workplaces in Tech is the icing on the cake. But we’re not stopping here. We’re listening closely to what our people have told us and using that feedback to keep improving. Our goal is to make Westcon-Comstor a truly exceptional workplace where everyone can thrive.”
“The tech industry is undergoing rapid transformation, driven by advances in AI and the constant pace of digital innovation,” said Benedict Gautrey, Managing Director at Great Place To Work UK. “In a landscape where change is the norm, the UK’s Best Workplaces in Tech stand out for putting their people first.
