Job satisfaction

My role requires a lot of thinking about new ideas and it means that I am constantly challenged on a day to day basis. I feel like I am making a difference to the company. It’s nice to know that some of the initiatives I am working on will be used in the company for years to come and that I will have had a chance to impact the future of the business in a small way.

Room for innovation and new ideas

Working at Westcon-Comstor means you can bring new ideas to the table no matter where you sit in the business. Although processes are clearly mapped out, there is always room to innovate and to think differently. People are always willing to listen and ideate together.

Diverse and interesting teammates

Westcon-Comstor is a global company which gives people the benefit of interacting with colleagues from all over the world. When not discussing work, there are opportunities to hear some really great stories.

Teamwork and strong leadership

I was originally hired into a new team of four people. While this was challenging to start with as it was a brand new role, it meant that we as a team could define our own way of working that would be passed onto more people as the team grew. We were under a lot of scrutiny to succeed, so when we started to achieve goals and do well, it was noticed. I have a good relationship with my managers. They have guided me and given me opportunities to grow my skillset and career in a short period of time.

Get involved

While you may be starting a role within a country or a segment of the business, Westcon-Comstor has a huge breadth of roles and business areas, so get involved. Learning about all the different areas of the business may open future career opportunities that you may not have considered before.
