Global Technology and Innovation Leader

Dr Michelle Dickinson MNZM is an engineer, technology strategist, and Chief Strategy Officer at Silicon Valley robotics firm Workr. With a PhD in Biomedical and Materials Engineering, she has advised leading global tech companies across nanotechnology, AI, quantum computing, and emerging technologies.

She is an honorary engineering academic at the University of Auckland, founder of STEM‑education ventures Nanogirl Labs and Matter Workshop, and an Honorary Wing Commander in the Royal New Zealand Air Force. A bestselling author, award‑winning science communicator, and podcast host, Michelle is renowned for making complex science accessible. Her honours include the MNZM, the Sir Peter Blake Leadership Award, and the Prime Minister’s Science Media Communication Prize.
